How Long to Store
The sooner you can eat your corn after your receive it, the sweeter it will be. The refrigerator will slow the conversion of sugars to starch, but only for so long.
If you can’t use your corn on the cob within a few days, blanch the whole cobs for 6 minutes and freeze for later use.
Give your corn a second life - corn cobs are a great source of earthy goodness in your favorite vegetable stock.
